2010 West Viognier Reserve

Extended Description:

2010 West Viognier Reserve is an aromatic and flowery wine which can give the impression of a sweet wine, but it is indeed completely dry. The Viognier grape hails from the Rhone valley.  Our Reserve version of our Viognier has been fermented in neutral oak barrels and aged for a year in the same barrels. The wine shows flavors of mature guava and mango with a hint pineapple.  These flavors continue on the palate along with some citrus. The wine has a rich mouth feel and a long aftertaste. This is a full bodied white wine to pair with more flavored seafood, chicken dishes and works beautifully paired with cheese such as aged Gouda and other “nutty” cheeses.
