Each walk includes and will end with a guided wine tasting flight on our vine-side patio. (Group size is limited to 10 persons. Join us for an exclusive owner-hosted tasting of selected early vintage Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve paired with appetizers as the sun sets over our vineyard
Cabernet Sauvignon is the foundation of Bordeaux wines known for their aging potential of 30-40 years or more. Winemaker and Owner Katarina and Bengt will pour and walk you though our Cabernet from 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 each paired with an appetizer. Our Cabernet vineyard is located on the west side of Dry Creek Valley 300 feet above the valley floor. South and West-facing exposure, rocky soils, and morning fog produces fruit with structure and depth of flavor.
In this experience, you’ll learn about the attributes of and taste youthful cabernet and then experience the rich aromas and flavors that have developed in the earlier vintages. Of special note, you’ll taste the 2005 vintage which was selected as the feature wine at the Nobel Prize Banquet in Stockholm in 2010! Seating for this event will be extremely limited.
