Our wines are based on more than twenty-five years of wine producing experience by the WEST Wines team. Our winemaker is Phyllis Zouzounis. The Cabernet Sauvignon is our signature wine and we also offer an elegant Chardonnay and a fresh and exciting Viognier. West Crest Cuvée is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.

West Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve

 West Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a rich and full-bodied wine with flavors of ripe dark fruit such as blackberry and plum, a hint of laurel and spicy notes. A deep color and round bouquet makes for a complex wine with excellent flavor concentration and ripe, supple tannins that will continue to evolve. The grapes are handpicked in a selected parcel within our West Hillside Estate. We bottle our wine after two years in oak barrels.
Like all big wines it should be opened an hour before drinking to let it breathe. |
West Crest Cuvée Reserve

West Crest Cuvée is a blend in the Bordeaux tradition pairing our Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc grapes from our neighboring growers. A well-rounded wine rich in flavors of cherries and raspberry as well as an earthy, spicy note and just the right amount of tannins. It spends two years in oak barrels before being bottled. Open an hour before drinking to get the most of the wonderfully complex aromas.

West Viognier is made from grapes grown in gravel loam soils in our West Creekside Estate in Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma County, California. This wine starts out with a wonderful yellow color. The aroma and taste show classic Viognier flavors such as guava and mango with a hint of tangerine. These flavors continue on the palate along with some tropical fruit, citrus and a tinge of pineapple. The wine is full in the mouth, both sensual and fresh, with lingering aftertaste and long finish.

West Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh and crisp wine with structured mouth feel and a long finish. It starts with aromas of citrus and melon and continues on the palate with the same flavors accompanied by green apple. You can pair this wine with appetizers, salads, fish and seafood or just sip it by itself.

 West Chardonnay has classic pear and apple aromas enhanced with hints of cloves and vanilla. The same ripe fruit flavors continue on the palate with notes of citrus and a touch of noisette. The wine is full bodied with a long, lingering finish. It is made from grapes grown in gravel loam soils of our West Creekside Estate.
