Walk one of our vineyards with our winemaker and owner Katarina. We will pick grape samples, and field test sugar, pH and of course, taste. Our first sparkling wine release is paired with Smoked Oyster Puffed Pastry. The 18th Wine & Food Affair along the Wine Road in Northern Sonoma County! 
All participating wineries make one of their favorite recipes, which can be sampled both days along with the perfect wine. You get a glass to take along for tastings at each winery and access to a great online cookbook. This event sells out and tickets have to be purchased in advance. No ticket sales at the door.

We celebrate the advent of Christmas with Glögg, cookies and Swedish Christmas decorations in our tasting room. Glögg is a hot mulled wine with cinnamon, cloves, ginger, raisins and more, traditionally served the four weeks leading up to Christmas in the Scandinavian countries. You will also find gifts for the holidays such as genuine Swedish Christmas decorations, wine glasses, champagne flutes, wine glass charms and of course wine. We recommend WestSeafoam, our sparkling wine, Late Viognier dessert wine as well as our vertical collection of our Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.

Winter WINEland

West Wines participates in the Annual Winter WINEland festival

Together with other wineries along The Wine Road in Sonoma we celebrate Winter WINEland. We will have all our winter decorations up and serve our great red wines along with Gourmet Cheese and Charcuteries. Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve of various well aged vintages as well as our French blend West Crest Cuvee and the Italian inspired West Tuscan Cuvee. Katarina will tell you how we cellar the wines to perfection.

Barrel Tasting Weekends

This is your chance to sample wine straight from the barrel. Visit our barrel room and sample wine straight from the barrel while you chat with the winemaker about our winemaking. You will be able to buy futures at a discount and pick up the wine (or have it shipped) after bottling a year later. This event is part of the Wine Road Barrel Tasting weekends so you have the opportunity to visit over 100 wineries and taste wines from their barrels.

Easter Weekend Fun - Vineyard Quiz Walk

Easter Quiz Walk in the vineyard - for all ages

A short self guided walk through our vineyard with questions about Sonoma nature, vineyards and wine (for adults) and Sonoma animals and plants (for kids). Winetasting for adults - jelly beans and apple juice pairing for the younger ones.

For wine tasting you have to be over 21. The vineyard hike is open to all ages however.
